Grünenthal PRO manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) from highly automated production facilities in Aachen, Germany and Mitlödi, Switzerland, supporting pharmaceutical customers across global markets.

Our operations combine scalable production capacity, multi-purpose equipment and pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise to support reliable long-term supply, backed by regulatory-certified manufacturing sites across our network.

In 2024, Grünenthal PRO supplied 390 tonnes of APIs and starting materials to more than 50 customers worldwide.

API used in treatments for symptoms associated with Ménière’s disease, including dizziness, tinnitus and nausea.

Oxatomide

Antihistamine API used in treatments for allergic conditions, including rhinitis, dermatitis and eczema.
